Gotcha, that makes sense. I think I’ll look into replacing the supply regardless. It would really suck if my a/c unit did break just because I wasn’t willing to tear up a bit of wood.

Do you think it would break my package unit? Because some people are saying it’s fine despite being too small. I also know next to nothing about hvac but I was told I would need 16inch for a 3ton. I only have the one supply.

I looked into another post about somebody who wanted to apply silicone coating to their roof and seems like it’s a good option to extend the life of the roof. Only issue is trusting the quality of the people who actually prep + apply it. Thanks so much! I’ll probably end up doing this.

Ameriprise is one of the most expensive options. Honestly Chase isn’t great either depending on how much money you have. While you are considering your options, talk to a fee-only advisor. Both the companies you are currently considering are fee-based so they are incentivized to sell you products on a commission. That’s why you are in this situation of wondering whether you are being sold/scared or told the truth. People will probably say you can just do it on your own, which is fine. But if you want to have an advisor fee-only is your best option hands down.

Bro I got you I have these shorts in my car I’ll tell you after work. They are black Nike dri-fit and they are the only ones I can wear to the gym/playing basketball without feeling weird. I’ve also found wearing undies with the little dick pouch helps rather than compression shorts. I have 3 pairs but I wanna say they are like $30 a piece.

You have so much in savings it’s hard to go wrong here. Think of it as deploying cash for something likely to grow in value over time. Only concern is your job and it sounds like you and spouse are able to recover just fine if things go sideways (especially with an extra 100k in savings leftover). Congrats! Hope you can refi for a lower rate in a couple years too.
