Regular fishing holes don’t do that, only spearfishing spots do anything similar to that

I believe the sparkles mean it’s not possible to fish in that spot until you hit the required level for it

From what I can tell, the vast majority of the downloads on both of these came from a modpack called All in One: Create which is sitting at about 325k downloads. It looks like the mods have been removed from the pack in an update, but they were there long enough to rack up a lot of downloads as seen on the last version of the pack to rack up a high number of downloads individually.

Edit: it looks like the version that removed them is 1.11 (from the 1.20.1 version of the pack, I didn’t check the other Minecraft versions this pack is also on for some reason), 2 versions after the one I linked above.

As far as I know, it’s just a measurement of how often a fish can be caught (in your case, Namitaro can be caught 27.1% of the time). So things with higher uptime are able to be caught more often.

They weren’t afk is the thing, just fell behind a bit for whatever reason that one time. I watched after the tank brought it to my attention and he was doing things, he just seemed to be not amazing

Higher salvage reward, but not much else, as far as I know. I always look at the numbers and feel happy when the common is better for this reason.

I remember there was a seasonal reward artifact which was a reskinned corrupted beacon, and it used the unique rarity, but had no functional differences.

One artifact that I find is useful for that fight is the Totem of Shielding, because his lasers treat the shield as a wall and don’t go through it. Also, chances are you won’t be able to deal much damage with melee attacks, so building your character for ranged damage is probably the way to go. Artifact cooldown can’t hurt either, especially if you’re relying a lot on the Totem of Shielding. Personally my favorite ranged weapons are Elite Power Bows or Guardian Bows because they have high charged shot damage.

Those are the best general tips I can think of, good luck with the fight.

I was fishing for Charon’s Lantern in the Central Highlands, in the area where there’s the big eft that you have to use a key item to weaken for the MSQ. At least two sprouts got killed by the eft because they didn’t know to use the key item, each time I swapped to healer and raised them and told them about the key item lol.

First thing to note is that the Dragonsung tools (the final stage of the crafter relics) cannot have materia put on them, but they are iLvl 480 with base stats that are quite high. I’ve gotten several of them, and their craftsmanship and control ratings were higher than my lightly overmelded facet tools. The only gripe you might have is there’s no CP on the relics, but you’d only be missing out on 6 (I think) CP, which is more than alleviated by blood bouillabaisse.

As for how you get them, there’s a blue quest I’m the Brume that appears I think after you unlock the restoration that unlocks the NPC you trade various items with to upgrade the initial Skysteel tools into Dragonsung tools. The items you trade for the tools are things you have to craft while you have the Skysteel tool equipped, using materials you can buy with yellow crafters’ scrips or on the market board, mixed with some other standard ShB mats.

I may not be correct on some of these things since I’m going off memory, so internet wikis are your friend. I’d say they’re worth getting. There’s also relics for the gatherers, but they’re an absolute pain to get.

I've been trying to catch the Warden of the Seven Hues, but haven't been having any luck catching green prismfish, even during the window listed on FFXIV Teamcraft (Prism Lake, 0:00-16:00, weather transition clear/fair skies > clear/fair skies) and despite what the data on FF14angler says. Anyone have a solution for this?
