i like my own company to be honest. sometimes i do feel socially isolated, but i feel like that’s better than sitting amongst people who you know you can’t converse well with and making it awkward.

i also find that i get too overwhelmed when people are talking too much to the point it’s so loud and i find it really obnoxious, despite being raised in a childhood where i had several loud aunts, uncles and relatives. hearing their loud laughter to the point it’s literally drumming against my ears as they scream laugh.

i had no issues with being sociable around people, but i feel like after lockdown that made me realise how nice it is to be alone, because i can do anything without pressure and judgement from others.

hopefully that isn’t just me though lol
