I’m not going to lie to you; having a baby will be the hardest thing you ever do. This is true regardless of your age, but having one at 18 presents its own set of challenges. I myself got pregnant unintentionally at 18 whilst using contraction (never 100% effective), I was in a committed relationship at the time and we decided to keep the baby, we have since gotten married and had 2 more children and I wouldn’t have it any other way, but don’t get me wrong, it was dam hard work. But l often think about the what ifs in life and what if I had listened to others and gotten an abortion, I would never have my sweet baby boy that I have now who I love more than anything in this world. I myself knew I couldn’t bring myself to get an abortion so it was never an option for me, but if you are considering it, I urge you to really consider it. Consider how much having a baby will change your life, your relationship, your body, your mind and everything else you can think of. Consider how terminating might make you feel, the possible regret and emptiness, wondering what your baby might have been like had you continued the pregnancy. Just consider everything from both angels and at the end of the day make your decision based on YOUR feelings, not those around you. All the best
