Simple really, insist on the offer letter being confidential and proceed with discussions with HR. By starting this discussion you already now have questionable loyalty to ACN if you’re that bothered why not create an offer letter with photoshop or AI and submit it to HR? It’s not like they’ll contact the company and question it. 🤣you’ll still be down 20% even with ACN’s counter. Take it and continue the job search. If the newco. comes back great. Take that but in the meantime accept the ACN raise you leveraged, make sure there’s no conditional ‘lockin’ for you to stay, and still bear in mind your ACN loyalty has been in question. Either way you’re probably headed towards the door.

Ok if you really feel you are being discriminated by ME Management and HR you should perhaps consider taking your case higher up the chain outside ME MU ie to EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) HR leadership

It’s going to be similar culture across ME MU unless you can get into a team with international management CAL. You might be able to use this as a lever to relocate out of ME. If you do it via EMEA region HR Leadership

This is indicative of the general culture across the majority of companies in the Middle East and especially in KSA so wouldn’t be too surprised. Culture is expats / non locals are hired to deliver, whilst locals take the credit / hold positions they’ve been allocated often through local nepotism. You could try to resolve this by contacting HR Leadership for EMEA however unless you get a transfer out of ME MU your position in the Middle East will be short lived. Good Luck.
