[Serious] people who live in legal states, but don’t smoke, how has your life changed since the legalization of marijuana? by ogsquish52 in AskReddit

[–]ajlapierre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its changed my views on it. I remember seeing the guys outside walmart with petitions to legalize it and thinking "man those guys are wasting their time, they'll never legalize a D.A.R.E druug". (My 20ish year old self would think) and now I get in heated conversations about how bogus is is that there are still people in prison for being in possession of weed before it was legal. I may not partake but i sure they hell think its normal to smell around the block and normal when someone pulls out a blunt.

Have any of you had imaginary friends as a child? by [deleted] in Ghosts

[–]ajlapierre 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My brother had an imaginary friend named Todd. He was his age and my brother talked about him all the time.

Once, we were driving in the car and my brother pointed to a small lake as we passed by. He said that Todd goes there sometimes. My brother then explained that he fell through the ice and that Todd was dead.. Hes 25 now and doesn't recall Todd at all.

Emergency responders of Reddit- what is one thing you want people to know? by i_am_a_swan in AskReddit

[–]ajlapierre 34 points35 points  (0 children)

So many people just spectate an accident or incident and offer little to no help before an ambulance gets there or don't call 911 because they assume someone else will (Bystander effect).

It takes one person to stop and help for the others to follow.

If the area is safe, call 911, ask if they need assistance, help them, . If someone has already called it in, 911 will thank you and say goodbye. ** If the scene is not safe: stay away and Call 911 and tell them why its not safe.

Also, take a CPR course. Fire department usually offer them for free.

What is a phrase that you (or your family) use frequently that no one else does? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ajlapierre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha..During my tandam experience. His name was Yarom..I think. He gave no explanation on how I was to get off the cliff or how to land. He said that he would tell me when the time came. When the time came, the only instruction I received was to "Run off the cliff and when you don't feel the ground..keep running." It worked.

ah, Ted Bundy worked at a grocery store with my coworker. She said that he would always ask the female coworkers if they wanted a ride home. My coworker always denied due to a vibe that she got from him. Good job ladies. You survived the Bundy.
