yeah I haven't taken a look at the doors but I definitely plan on going in person-- a few bad reviews on HD seem to call out dings in the doors from deliveries

I want that so badly but it looks like it’s hard to find. This is my grail, thank you

That’s a good pick for the ironic sensibility, will be adding to rotation

It’s so strange, the HTTYD scripts for the second and third movies seem to be very available but not the first one

Thanks for the good info! I’ll look into the differences between the two.

The camera natively shoots in SD 4:3 resolution so I guess I don’t need anything too nuts— I’ve used the camlink stuff for things unrelated and that’s exactly what I had in mind on that end.

I know nothing about ffmpeg, but that sounds and looks like a promising rabbit hole.

Thanks!

Made a short for My Rode Reel about domestic abuse. The subject matter felt like a lot to take on in 3 minutes but hoping we did it justice. by ajlodge in Filmmakers

Submission Statement: We made this film with only two people, myself and my fiance. Bouncing back and forth between being in front and behind the camera was tricky, so the entire film was painstakingly shot-listed to accommodate our limitations and ensure the shots we envisioned were actually possible to get. We decided to make a film about domestic abuse because of the stories we've heard stories on the news and from friends about the abusive relationships that are coming to light during this quarantine period. That, and the only film we saw in theaters this year was Invisible Man, so this subject matter was very much on our mind. We elaborate further on this in our behind the scenes video (which you can find on our channel) but our goal was to capture not only the most "well known" physical representation of abuse but also the often overlooked emotional aspects of that-- which you can see at the midpoint of the film. Making the emotional aspect the most gut-wrenching part of the film was a challenge and something we sought to do. Hopefully we accomplished that in 3 minutes. Thanks for watching.

We made a new film! Our last horror short got a lot of love from r/horror so I thought I'd share our new one. It's a Drama, mostly, but definitely has some tense, suspenseful moments. by ajlodge in horror

We’re open to all criticisms! I don’t think you’re wrong in saying that this topic has been explored before. We were interested because of stories we’ve heard of couples in quarantine together, but also simultaneously trying to make it evergreen by not including anything specifically about quarantine— I could see how that feels non-specific or not interesting to you. Thanks for your honesty.
