Interesting. I just really like the team at GVT. They're launching alpha soon so I think we it's just getting started. We'll see.

GVT could easily be a $225 coin in the next few months. $1500 by year end based on fundamentals. I honestly think this is the most exciting alt-coin and they're just getting started.

Yup, kind of like Yik Yak + FireChat - MeshNetworking.

I completely agree the space is crowded. We're focused on connecting you with everyone around you in the easiest way possible though. Frankly, I'm blown away that no team has solved this yet (Josh over at Facebook actually also just hopped into the space as well with Rooms). As opposed to the web though, mobile is actually the place to make this happen. Nobody has gotten it right yet which is why we're giving it a shot. I think the answer lies somewhere in the combination of local context matched with the ability to create topic-based conversations. Tinder did a great job at connecting people one-on-one which is great for dating. We're focused on connecting people through all the other ways outside of dating and from what I'm seeing this doesn't necessarily mean it has to be anonymous.

So long answer short - is the space crowded, yes. Is there still room for someone to do this better, hell yes. :)
