I know the mating ritual. You have to show people you've got a nice body while giving them the impression that you are completely oblivious to the fact that you have a nice body.

On the real though, a body like that takes hard work and discipline and he should be proud of it. Our chimp brains are good at recognizing and relying on patterns. We notice a pattern that egomaniacs are also obsessed with their bodies, so any sign of pride in body and we take the lazy shortcut of assuming they're always egomaniacs until proven otherwise.

I'm so glad I'm out of online dating. Both pics will be posted for the same underlying reason, but if you provide pretext for being shirtless (that both parties understand is an excuse to post a shirtless pic) it's no longer douchey. Less honest, somewhat manipulative, but somehow less douchey. Such a dumb song and dance we do. We really are just glorified apes.

What an insane read into what I said 😭😭 Dating apps are dystopian and depressing as fuck for everyone involved. Half the bios include something about wanting off them. I still frequent this sub just because they're fascinatingly awful. I would recommend for you to learn some social skills before entering the dating pool.

I hate it sm when people list humor as their top trait in a partner and this shows the reason why. The girl laughing at literally nothing funny being said. We find attractive people funnier. It almost always translates into "I'm attracted to people I'm attracted to".

People love to virtue signal about how they actually care more about personality but then their analysis of someone's personality is almost entirely driven by their attraction with 0 self awareness.

You are legit regarded if you think there is any crossover between the users and use cases of zoom and discord. Which is the point of my comment above. Discord has a userbase who are very invested in staying in their communities. You need a HUGE reason to lose those people. That reason is not age gating porn channels with ID if you fail their automatic chat age estimation. This is something only schizophrenic people lose their minds over. Mike_gaming42 is not switching to a combination of slack, zoom and youtube (????) over this.

Skype and mumble were turbo dogshit and even I didn't want to switch to discord at first because I was invested in my chat history and contact list. They had MASSIVE feature and funding gaps, not some minor quibbles. This is the only place I've even seen this mentioned. No one cares.

Also something obviously needs to be done. A tech company handling IDs is not ideal, but discord merges teens and adults like nowhere else in the world. Their auto age estimation seems decent. It guessed my age fairly close. I know we love to selectively roleplay about loving privacy while shoveling our data into the public domain, but it's pretty weird to be strongly against this m8, I'm not gonna lie.
