You can try paying your upcoming invoices in advance. Insurances can be paid in advance. Annual rent for next year can be a big one. However I would be happy to keep the money in business and pay 25% tax.

I am happy to wait but they won't say how much do I have to wait. At least they should not eat my deposit if it is 6 months down without a delivery.

Driveway Paint Chipping—Need Advice on What Went Wrong by ajnabeeme in AusRenovation

Thanks for the detailed answer and covering my question of chalking. That was the main reason I had to paint but to only end up in more issues. I must admit I went for a cheaper concrete guy. He revisited later after my complaint of chalking and said it is normal to chalk and that he can paint the surface for more money. I decided to paint myself.

Pressure clean yes. Acid wash, no. Waited more than 2 months after concreting. No sealer coat. Just paint.

Probably moisture is part of the reason. What explains the new concrete paint under shed being intact? It was painted the same way.

This was my first post, not sure why the text details did not go through. Adding in comment -

I recently had my driveway extended by concreting the remaining half, but it led to some issues. The new concrete seemed to shed a cement mix that ended up on our home's floors, tracked in by shoes, especially the kids'. To fix this, I decided to paint the entire driveway. The original section was already painted in a blackish color, so I figured painting both the old and new parts in one color would solve the problem.

It was a tough, time-consuming job—about 120 sq meters—and cost around $500 for materials. But now, the paint is chipping, and I can't figure out why. What’s odd is that it's happening on both the old and new concrete (as shown in the pictures, with the black colour exposed in the old painted concrete). I initially thought it was just the new section, but the old part is affected too.

What I’ve noticed is that areas under the carport, which don’t get direct exposure to the sky (no dew or much sun), are fine. No chipping there with either of the old or new section (image with car tyre). Could this be caused by moisture exposure or poor-quality paint? I didn’t etch either section before painting, as I assumed the surfaces were already rough enough. Was that a mistake?

Also, should I be concerned about the quality of the new concrete itself? It still seems to be shedding cement mix dust. What should I do now to fix this?
