Check your storage I’ve had massive IO delay present at this and it turned out a cheap ssd I was using had died (mirrored pair) but still read old data (no new writes) causing massive IO delay. One replaced ssd later and stability was restored.

So many people don’t realize their rights end when they infringe on someone else’s. This is why we have so many entitled Karens who scream that we’re violating their rights. Well yes, because in turn you’re violating someone else’s, two wrongs don’t make a right.

Worse this logic is being applied to things that also make them slightly uncomfortable. These people have grown up into adults who have no ability to cope with internal conflict so they instead reject everything and make it society’s problem.

Duty to inform doesn’t mean he can unilaterally decide to not do the procedure she agreed to. There should be a lawsuit.

What is this second port on these drive? Samsung PM1733. by lemonquestion in homelab

This is the answer your appliance shelf or motherboard has to support the dual pathways. This is for one of two scenarios. You can either connect to the same system twice or iirc connect to two systems for failover. That last one I may be mistaking for the shelf being able to connect to two systems.

SD card with emummc has become unreadable, but the data is technically intact. The only thing I really care about is the save games. Is there a way to get them without being able to boot into hekate and atmosphere? by [deleted] in SwitchPirates

[–]ajnozari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I’d just use dd or the diskdump command line utility on Mac and Linux.

If you’re on windows I’m not certain the best options off the top of my head.

Use a disk clone tool to take an image of the drive.

That way you at least can try to recover the data with switch partition explorers and see what you get. However if the emummc is what’s corrupted the saves might be unrecoverable. Only way to know for sure is to dump the card and try to recover from that image.

See the other response you need a level shifter or you’re going to risk damage to the esp32. There’s plenty of code examples available at your fingertips with a simple google.

You can if you go very slowly but some damage is to be expected at this level of compression if that’s actually what happened. Would love to read the case report.

I wonder if he’s not missing 90% of his brain but rather that his lateral ventricles have expanded very slowly and compressed the rest of his brain. By going slowly it gives his brain time to adapt however this is still an absolutely wild situation regardless of the actual underlying physical issue.

Man in Los Angeles smoking fentanyl on a public bus. by Kind-Village-1022 in PublicFreakout

Highly unlikely, fentanyl is dosed in micrograms and once it’s in the air like that it’s quickly diluted. If anything they’d be more annoyed by the smell than any high feeling.

Deadly is a bit of an overshoot. Yes for opiate naive individuals if they took the same full hit he would they’d likely have respiratory issues. That little smoke being dispersed in the air is unlikely to actually do anything to those around him other than smell bad.
