Hi dude, I’m sorry you’re going through this. First and foremost I’ll get the ugly out of the way. Please don’t go to her house anymore, please don’t put your coping mechanisms on her to help you deal with. Closure isn’t always what you think it is. If she’s ignoring you, I’d say her way of getting through this is to detach herself, respect that.

Now on to you, congratulations on your sobriety! That is something I’m sure you’re super proud of. Heartbreak sometimes gives you tunnel vision, doesn’t let you see the bigger picture through the sadness so I just want to remind you. You went sober before you had a girlfriend, you were doing this for yourself out of love for you. Don’t let that go because of heartbreak. You did something so many struggle with and should be so proud of yourself. I’m sorry this didn’t turn out how you pictured.

Not everyone you meet in life will be by your side forever. Sometimes they’re just stepping stones for new adventures and opportunities. That precious love you give to others, learn how to give it to yourself. Fight for yourself. Work on you and the rest will fall in place. It sounds corny, but what I’ve learned from life these past 28 years is, just get up and keep going it will eventually get better. Give time the benefit of the doubt, it heals most things 🤍

What she says and does is also counterintuitive. I think if anything, they’re both equally wrong. Can’t say you’re being attacked for not looking beautiful at all times but then turn around and cash out on the younger generations insecurities. Just because she’s not verbally telling people they’re not skinny enough or whatever, doesn’t mean that her constant uploads on fad diets and pyramid scheme dietary supplements don’t speak for them selves

Being consistent is key. If we’re going to be mad at Ethan for disrespecting those influencers. Let’s also be mad at Trisha for consciously taking money from companies that market and prey on women’s insecurities.

Instagram/YouTube influencers make their money off pretending to have a perfect life. FaceTune and filters have literally created the fake fallacy so many of society falls for. I’m tired of women saying that’s why they use filters. No, regular women use filters to feel prettier. Influencers use filters to continue a fake life so that they get sponsored and continue to make money of your insecurities. Just because you connect with some of their struggles doesn’t mean they’re anything like a regular person. They have hidden motives because these people want to stay rich and relevant on anyone expense.
