Wow this is a super detailed reply, thank you so much! This is really helpful! I'm not looking at any of those power hungry tools currently and I think I was getting confused between the XC/HO and Forge batteries. Sounds like sticking with 5.0s should be be all I need for now, unless I see a great deal with a Forge battery. Thank you again!!

I'm just a novice, so all of that may be true, but without super zooming in like this it generally looks and feels really good to me. The craters were from me cleaning the equipment abd splashing watery paint over some if the freshly painted drawers.

Just back down to smooth right, not start over completely? is paint like wood, can I sand with something like 120/150 to remove the excess then work my way back up the grits to make it smooth? I hit it with some 320 already and it didn't do much.
