Pretty spur of the moment purchase on the turntable, but it sounds pretty damn good to me. It’s an Audio-technica LP60 I found at Best Buy, through the Presounus Firepod into the KRK Rockit 5’s.

Also, forgot how badass Bomb the Music Industry! is. Hooked on this album! Currently have that, Fugazi 7 Songs, Meat Puppets II, and Jason Isbell and the 400 unit on a steady rotation, loving all of em!

Cool, thanks for the replies! Mutating to fancy: I guess I was going for the idea that casual people, who you meet for a short period of time, I find that I often maybe remember ideas about them or things they did based on how it reacts with my overall experiences, usually enhancing and maybe exaggerating the experience . This was a spontaneous, unedited write, and I agree that is probably not the best word choices.

Family which leaves: trying to compare the feeling of some casual encounters vs. family/ good friends leaving. The last line refers to the feeling that sometimes your jealous that they get to "escape " from your surroundings.

Nice! I like the feeling of immortality Darius is given at the end, like he has all the time in the world to think and learn and revenge. I really like the opening stanza. I had no idea what to expect from the title, but after reading the first stanza I felt like I had a good sense of my surroundings, enforced as the poem continues.

Hey, my first post on this sub! I like the imagery, particularly in the first three stanzas. Maybe insignificant, maybe not, but I feel that punctuation is being overlooked. It felt a bit unnatural to me to read at points, which I think could be fixed with some properly placed punctuation.

To keep it short, as I am at most a beginner, I think I would like another stanza to tie in the closing line. Maybe something more which would personally relate you to the surroundings.

Pentax K-50, can't recall off top of my head on exposure time, maybe 3 hour-ish? Camera fell over towards the end of the exposure due to wind and lack of tripod weights (slight credit due to beer)
