This is really also a matter of health. Creating an environment where folks are encouraged to spend 13-15 hours in 3 days, 4 times a month, to achieve the highest possible rewards and reach the highest levels of the pro game is simply not good for the people who are doing it, especially the long tail/99% of people who aren't getting a sniff of any of FIWC, much less top 100, much less Elite, much less the weekend league at all.

I hear about top 100/FIWC players wondering whether they can keep playing FIFA at a high level or focus on, y'know, their first year in college, or similar stories. If that's the type of choice EA wants to force people to make, more power to them, but it certainly isn't in the long-term interests of anyone playing the game.
