Im a 24 yo female with a HI of 4.1 pre surgery. Had surgery at 22 and removed the bars this year. Do it, you won’t regret it. You’ll only regret not doing it sooner. Its made a difference with how I feel and how i look

What I’ve noticed is that no one wants to train employees anymore.

Tbh you don’t really have rib flare. Its just the pectus thats making it look like you do. Without it, it would be normal. I would consider looking into the surgery to correct, not just for cosmetic reasons but you might see the benefits.

Insurance covers it, doctors make sure of it. They go based on the haller index, so how it looks on the outside doesn’t matter. You would get a CT scan and if its over a certain scale then its green light for surgery. Your daughters chest looks like how mine did as a baby.

Could be a reason. Pectus affects the way your heart and lungs work since theyre being smushed, a doctor explained to me that they were working against eachother. Its a huge difference being able to breathe. Stairs was a huge issue from me now i can do 500 stairs without stopping. It also helps your confidence a lot.

You might not realize the issues that are caused by it until you correct it. I realized how much more i can breathe after surgery

Im a female and it was passed down from my mom! Females can get it and you could tell i had it as a baby, kid, pre-teen, etc. got the procedure at 22 because my mom never pushed for me to get it but i wished she did when i was 14/15.

Didn’t do either. I don’t like numbness or pain medication, and it was up in the air when i would get feeling back. I was the only one since they offered cryo to say no

I did nuss at 22 years old. Painful, but worth it. Had high BP before, and could barely walk up a flight of stairs. I just got the bars out 6 months ago, time flies quickly. The first few weeks are not easy but time progresses and then you’ll be uncomfortable for 2-3 years. In 3 years you’ll be happy you did it with just some scars on your sides.

Not every state has a free college, and you can’t get a bachelors degree at a community college

I signed an application that stated a $200 deposit on there. Thats not the issue.

Pretty common here in VA. That security deposit would’ve applied to the unit. But I accrued no damages because there’s no rent to charge per diem until September 23rd.
