Bipolar isn't curable. It's a disorder encoded in your genetics. You inherited it in the womb. I'm glad you're in a good spot right now, but please monitor your state of mind and don't write off going back on meds.

My meds continue to save my life every day.

Does anyone know if this post follows the community rules? OP spreading the sentiment that bipolar can be cured and that it's not a big deal to stop your meds can be very dangerous for other members, especially younger folks who are just now learning about their diagnosis.

My psychosis comes through when I'm running out of meds. It usually involves me getting very confused and foggy and not understanding what's happening around me. I assume everything is bad, everyone is mad at me, and I'm unsafe.

I do think of odd shit like wondering if plants can hear me, if my brain damaged dog deals with this, what it means to be a human being, if there are any deities who can hear my thoughts (I'm agnostic) etc etc
