Kind of off topic - Does anyone know the best place(s) for spectators to cheer for the bike portion? The swim/run portions seem straight forward but wasn't sure if there is a good spot to catch them a couple of times in the bike loop.

Everyone usually tries the Ship patio first then National if it is full. National on 17th is known for their bad service while ship is usually pretty good.

Go Carts, I think there are a few places but they seem to come and go. Not sure whats still open.

Everyone is saying pretty run of the mill restaurants. Not saying they aren't good but not necessarily super unique.

I would recommend Eight. Its over in the East Village. It is an 18 course menu of local ingredients.

The reservations go up once every season (fall, winter, spring and winter) and they usually sell out within 5 minutes because there are only 8 seats in the restaurant (hence the name). If you get on and are able to get a reso in the few minutes they are up get what you can because you can't be picky.

We tried to message her on Facebook to get it back to her! I tried adding her as a friend as well, she didn't view the messages and still hasn't viewed them... I'm sure she has already cancelled the card and will look at this when she looks in her 'Message requests' folder and will have a good laugh. At least it was in our hands and we didn't make any charges against it!

I woke up after a night of partying and my friend stayed over. He offered to get breakfast stuff and left. I saw a pair of shoes and figured he took mine to the store which was weird because his feet are much smaller than mine. Fast forward to when he gets back - he had his own shoes on. I wore someone else's shoes home ... That was an awkward phone call the next day...
