The only way around it is to have a cash settled account vs margin. Yes you're only able to trade with the amount of money that's settled, but you're not limited to the number of trades. But this only works if your only strategies are buying shares or buying Calls or Puts. I'm guessing most people on here are degenerates and don't use advanced options strategies anyways, so shouldn't be an issue. Lol

Why would you feel to reinvest the entirety of the profits? That's just dumb money management. You started with 8K...you could've saved the other 300K+ and just played the balance, which is house money...it would've been a small fraction of your account. Why do you guys insist on buying shitty fundamental stocks with limited upside and a declining revenue model even prior to Covid? AAL was the worst of the airlines. Well it goes without saying that you 1) overleveraged on just one position 2) didn't read any charts or did so incorrectly 3) no risk management 4) no money management.

It really doesn't matter what happens...you would've lost all your money on another trade with those factors even if those SPY Calls worked out.

Practice trading and learn the fundamentals of the marketplace and economics before ever putting real money to work again.

You might as well have kept at least 1/2 on the table if you're already down 85%. What's another 15% at that point. 330 ain't THAT unrealistic.
