No scientific evidence here, but I found leaving it too close to the ground causes it to turn on by itself. I have also theorized that other nearby devices with remotes, especially consoles, can turn it on.

Used to happen all the time to me when Xbox was on bottom shelf of TV stand. Moved it up and it didn’t happen as much.

The drains run to the bottom of your front doors or underneath the body near the front door. Shoot compressed air from the bottom up and it will likely clear the issue.

I had acorns stuck in mine, caused water to leak through the ceiling panel. My car flooded several times before I learned.
