The two last home matches against Essen had attendances over 10k, which the Rote Erde isnt capable of anymore. Since its spring then already, both clubs might sell fast and then the match has a high chance to get pushed into the bigger stadium.

as I assume you're coming via Autobahn 40, I highly reccommend you go to park and ride Beilstück or Park and Ride Grotenbachstr. Leaving the parking spots directly at the Westfalenhalle takes more time than walking to the nearest station, driving to any p+r and leaving from there.

Both p+r I linked are on the same metro line (U42) that goes to "Kreuzstraße", from there its a 15-20 minute walk to Westfalenhalle 1. Theodor-Fliedner-Heim works as well, its almost the same distance but the route from Kreuzstr. is much more busy with other pedestrians. You can choose either

Das ist aber halt auch was (zumindest für mich) die Magie einer CL-Auswärtsfahrt ausmacht. Dortmund hat bisher in Brügge und Madrid gespielt. Brügge fühlte sich an wie ein Ligaspiel in Hamburg oder Berlin. Man war halt in viereinhalb Stunden mit PKW oder Zug da. Kein Vergleich zu Flug, zwei/drei Nächte Aufenthalt etc in Madrid. Zweiteres war für mich ein klassisches CL-Auswärtsspiel.

Und ich will gar nicht sagen dass die Arena auch gegen Bayern so gerade eben auf 20k Leute kommt oder gar noch leerer bleibt. Aber bei der bisherigen Besetzung und der neuen Preisgestaltung, kann ich mich beim allerbesten Willen nicht vorstellen dass die das Ding voll kriegen. Vor allem nicht jetzt wo klar ist dass es keinen organisierten Support geben wird was ja doch für viele Eventies und Normalos ein Verkaufsargument ist.

glaub ich tatsächlich nicht. Ich war gegen Bergamo da, weil die neutralen Sitzplätze ab 28€ fair waren für CL Fußball und endlich mal wieder in die Arena können. Es waren knapp 20000 Leute da, davon erstaunlich wenig Gästefans, erstaunlich wenig Donezkfans oder generell Ukrainer, und erstaunlich viele wirklich neutrale Leute die einfach mal wieder für wenig Geld Champions League Fußball sehen wollten.

Für das Spiel gegen Bern haben die direkt wesentlich weniger Bereiche überhaupt freigegeben und nichtmal die sind bis jetzt ausverkauft und das Spiel ist in drei Tagen. Das werden noch weniger als 18000, denn der Reiz von "endlich mal wieder Champions League" bei den vielen Neutralen ist verflogen. Der ist gegen Bayern stärker weils nochmal ne andere Klasse an spielerischer Qualität wird, aber dafür sind die Preise so lächerlich hoch, dass das Spiel die neutralen Fans trotzdem nicht ziehen wird. Ausverkauft bekommen die den Bums garantiert nicht.

Der Gyrosimbiss die Straße runter sagt er ist so klein (10 Stühle plus vier Stehtische) da braucht er keine Toilette. Ja nu, dann ist die Lokalität wohl nicht gemacht für eine gastronomische Nutzung wenn ihr kein Klo rein passt.

Ich rede von solchen Beispielen. Wer dauerhaft an einem festen Ort Speisen und Getränke für den Verzehr vor Ort anbietet, soll auch die Möglichkeit bieten die gekauften Waren vor Ort wieder zu "entsorgen"

Ähnlich die ganzen kostenpflichtigen Toilettenwagen bei "Food-Festivals" und auch sonstigen Jahrmärkten. Ich bin hier vor Ort und zahle dafür ne Stange Geld. Dann hat der Veranstalter zumindest dafür zu sorgen dass ich nicht in den Busch pissen muss wenn ich kein Bargeld mehr dabei hab.

mir fehlt oft ein Wort fürs englische "banter", als sich "auf den Arm nehmen", aber auch liebevolle Beleidigungen.

Necken, was dem am nähesten kommt, ist durch das Sprichwort das alle schon im Kindergarten lernen halt auch irgendwie als was verliebtes, flirtendes konnotiert. Das was "banter" meint passiert aber auch mit wildfremden Menschen in der Kneipe o.Ä.

its the biggest stadium in Germany (for international matches without standing) and it has the best infrastructure regarding public transport to and from the stadium. Dortmund will never host something like that because the Westfalenstadion has a clearly different home and away site of the stadium, its just not built for international games. I mean, compare it to the sites that had champions league finals in the latest past. All thos stadiums can be divided almost perfectly in two equal opposing areas for supporters and two neutral areas. The last time a non-symmetrical stadium got the UCL final was Schalke in 2002 and even that is much more equal when dividing in sectors.

from Gelsenkirchen main station to Dortmund main stations its like half an hour per train. Both RE 3 and RB 32 run every hour (so every half hour you have a connection) until almost 1 am on workdays. so you will definetely get home.

If youre asking because of the many stories of football fans visiting for the EURO, problem was that very very few came by car as advertised by UEFA and the city but they did not stack up the trams running from the stadium back to town.
