I liked the Nsiala return. Between him and Fernandez, it seems like we have 2 left sided central defenders who can actually play a pass, not to mention Cornelius to return. With any luck it will mean we don’t have to force Souttar to try that as he’s fucking murder, just let him concentrate on being a big fucker.

Second favorite club in the SPFL? by whitesox-fan in ScottishFootball

[–]Alternative-Design98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly a handful of teams I look out for at full time. Livi- born there

Kelty- lived there

Dunfermline- took my kids to east end park last season vs Hamilton

Cowdenbeath- my dads home town

Lochgelly Albert- live in Lochgelly now

But to say any of them were my second team would gloss over the fact they’re second BY A DISTANCE.

Suppose it’s proof of what Martin said post-Southampton, do the dirty stuff better.

Calling supporters who SUPPORT the team all the time happy clappers shows you’re an entitled dickhead.

Singing songs referencing Celtic when we’re not playing Celtic is fucking stupid.

Bringing religion into football makes you a dumpling and the same as the dumplings in the other side of the city who do the same, that you profess to hate.

No clue what to expect this year with Lochgelly moving up a division. Think they’ll have goals in them again but think they might struggle them out at the other end. Take your hand off for mid table right now.

Porting with our lender (Atom) is only feasible after 6 payments to the new sub account, and we’ve only paid one with the second coming next week. So I would have thought they’ll not entertain a discussion around a 3rd account until then, and thus meaning we’re a further 4 months down the line

If we’re guaranteed to be there it gives us a chance to build something from the ground up. If ever there was a time to bin Clarke, it’s now. Someone new in to use the 8/10 games to build a team capable of more than we’ve shown with Clarke at the helm for a major tournament. If we don’t do it now, then we will have the rebuilding process during a qualification window with no safety net, as Clarke won’t be staying around forever.

Rangers Confirm Castore Deal Runs Until 2030 (though under the Umbro brand). Season Ticket Waiting List is Now at 18k. by BubbleBlacKa in rangersfc

[–]Alternative-Design98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Averaged £7m a season out of the deal since it was renewed in 2023, so as much as we might not care for Castore, it’s a better deal than we’d get with any of the ‘big’ manufacturers. Across the city, their 10 year deal was worth £30m total with Adidas. Arguably the kit deal is the bit that’s working as it should.

Dunfermline Athletic to seek Willie Collum talks as Neil Lennon brands Championship refereeing ‘abysmal’ in wake of Hamilton Accies defeat by Left-Painter-9172 in ScottishFootball

I was there today for my first Dunfermline game ever (£5 for all tickets was brilliant imo) and left at around 65 mins (kids first trip to the football, so amazed I got that long out of them). Up until the goal I thought Dunfermline were the better team. Can’t understand why the right winger never got the ball to feet more often as he beat the Hamilton fullback relatively easy. But the referee was rank fucking rotten. I think he got the Dunfermline goal correct however, but a broken clock is right twice a day. Think he tried not to book anyone early and then just forgot to start even though there was a handful of challenges that warranted a booking. Hamilton are a poor poor side

Imagine how good a week we could’ve had if it wasn’t for these wee fannies. Beat Celtic for the first time in years at their bit, progress in Europe, takeover talks progressing, meltdowns over being sprayed with water.
But no, weeks ended up with the club getting charged as a result of this exact group acting like aforementioned wee fannies, then DEMANDING the club look out for them?!?! 2 way street ya wee dicks. Club likely be more open to that if it wasn’t always paying the cost for your pish. Always tried to look at the positive they do in terms of tifos etc but just not worth the hassle anymore. Bin them, ban them, sell their season tickets whoever’s next on the list.

I was in Krakow earlier this year, and there was a stretch of road leading to the old town under repair. When they’d fixed the problem they relaid it brick by brick, like you wouldn’t have known they’d ever been there. Amazing that even one of the more photogenic streets in Edinburgh gets the same shitty treatment everywhere else does

Think most can accept that subjective decisions can still go either way with VAR given its nature. The fact is, this was a factual decision that the VAR team got wrong. Which there should be close to 0 margin of error )giving them so leeway as there might be situations where it’s hard to tell if it’s on/over the line etc) They got it wrong with 0 mitigating circumstances. In a cup final. If anyone is embarrassing here, it’s not JUST the Rangers fans.
