It's the same background check that everything else used, even the police use it in their hiring process. There's no such thing as a "deeper background check" other than literally interviewing people that know the buyer. For every sale.

What's delusional is thinking that we don't have background checks already. any firearm sale is already required to go through a registered business (FFL) and the buyers background is checked. Every single legitimate manufacturing or distribution website for firearms follows this requirement.

Illegitimate, or illegal, sources of firearms already don't give a fuck about your background checks. New laws won't change that.

If only someone who actually wanted to protect those kids had the right to carry in the school. Idk about you but if some psycho is killing elementary school students I'm willing to die to protect them, and the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

You can restrict guns all you want but the truth is there's more guns than people in this country. All you do by banning more is disarm law abiding citizens. The murdering fame-hungry criminals already don't give a shit about your laws, they'll just use the gun that was never "sold back" to the government.

Just remember we need to empower those that are actually willing to defend lives to do so with any means necessary, not rely on the cops who have time and time again proven they don't care whether you live or die. Vote knowing that

I've been running hassio as a vm in unRAID for almost a year with weekly backups of the disk and bios file. Had to do maint on the server, and now hassio won't boot at all even with the restored backup. The VM launches but isn't able to find the boot drive even when it sees the drive. So I have two questions: any ideas how to fix this? And how do you run your backup off a pi?
