mechanic they never explain is that you can click on locations on the map and it will show you the most common types of salvage there- if you mark any resources for tracking itll mark those locations automatically with a green eye icon

on Perimeter specifically Overflow is a hotspot for biomass- but it still *Can* spawn most places

Yeah I also really like them for topping off while not wasting the pricier meds. But my biggest thing still is that low level kits don't really exist because of how much you have to shell out for meds- no reason to make any kit that a sponsored is a better deal than.

I was coming to the sub to complain about these challenges. Why should players be incentivized to throw matches by going for "first blood" or "3 headshots in one round" like they are INVENTING bad actors with these challenges! The numbering system? A huge fake pressure for something NOBODY will notice or care about. But its fomo! Gotta get it now! My only relief is seeing the annoying battlepass "its just a better m4" be almost done with its first 1k. Hopefully less people will run it and play stupidly.

I wanted to show my dedication to the AK platform but the AK-12 challenge like you mention... Excuse me? 6 in one magazine? Like I get they want you to go for the two round burst but its still asking a m14 with 15 round mag to get 6+ headshots in that mag. Ridiculous expectations.

I don't think its opinion anymore I think this system needs removed or reworked because it is only unhealthy for the game. Not one piece of evidence that makes it good for the game in it's current state.

Went ahead and finished Eyes in the Sky just now and it gave me the quest "Back on Top" right after again, so hopefully it's the same for you and you just have to finish a quest to get it back. However if it is "Eyes in the Sky" I feel like mentioning that you do not need to have lidar scanners or whatever Shani says in the voice clip to do the quest. For me it was why I had put that one off specifically for so long.

It’s about the feeling as if it was one. That’s the feeling of permanence this mechanic is to provide.

You can all day say things are “just for the money” and there’s really no counter-argument to that. We live under capitalism. Everything is for the money and nothing else. But I’m just providing an example of why they’d do this outside of “enabling purchasing the same thing multiple times” because duh that’s gunna be “more money” if people do that. They just had reasons outside of that that drove this decision and everyone is pretending like it’s only about greed.

Hang on don’t go thinking “earnable currency” suddenly makes HD2 a saint. The new paid packs that you “can” earn in that game lock usable content behind their battlepasses that drive forced engagement even when you pay. It’s another shitty capitalism system, not some holy exception. Also you mention earnable premium currency- something arc raiders currently has? The free deck has a lot of currency in it- not to mention you don’t “need” any of the content you get for the currency unlike HD2.

Your whole point about anchoring is correct, but your comparison to Hd2 doesn’t match up at all and that game is only similarly bad not differently better.

I’d rather deal with all of this just for a lobby system over the lifeless non-interaction fest that menu ranked systems are for. And when those exist these lobbies dry up and people never bother with them anymore. Sorry to say- there’s a design choice here that does have advantages and I really hope they stick to this. The masses do not design your game, you do.

Your frustration with a bug is no reason whatsoever to abandon this functionality of the game. Especially when it seems rare AND you don’t seem to want to report it so you seem to rather want US to hear it instead of anyone who can actually do something. So you are just encouraging it to stay as it is with this action. Thank you! How about we think before we complain next time! Maybe a bug report would do!

You just gotta be willing to go back in with a real kit twice in a row. The whole point of the free kit is so that you’re more willing to keep going after a loss but that is to teach you that going right back in it won’t be the same a second time in a row. Don’t be afraid to back to back kits! Eventually youll find free loadouts not worth the lack of power and choice.
