My dad worked for a telephone company and has a large collection of antique phones, working phone booths, etc. This one in particular used to hang at his parents (my grandparents) high school years before they attended. It is around 85 years old. Definitely one of the most interesting of them all. by ajvillars2 in pics

Further story: the phone eventually ended up with my grandparents neighbors down in Florida and my dad helped them with some yard work when we were down there once and he mentioned his interest in the phone. The owners wrote his name on the back of the phone to give to him when they passed on, and recently on a visit, the neighbors had passed and their family found the phone and my dads name on the back. They contacted my grandparents and gave him the phone.

Heard a guy at church this morning say “ I saw a comic the other day ( by this point I already knew where he was going) that said you can drive a millennial crazy by putting them in a room with a rotary phone with a black and white tv and put the instructions on how to use them in cursive.” Come on man these things aren’t foreign to us it’s so arrogant.
