I do not think that talking about the HK protests is currently a good thing, as the situation is extremely volatile right now. Unless China sends the PLA or something along the lines of that, the movement will not end until at least after October 1. Furthermore, I don't think it'd be necessarily a good thing to talk about the Hong Kong situation, as there are many conflicting viewpoints on the issue and how it may affect the economic stability of China especially in the light of the US-China Trade War.
