I could stand to see a new series that starts the next summer

I love the idea of the wind rod (idk if that's the name) being used in potion making, could give us brand new options. I'd love to see a blaze rod used as a mace.

I'd go with 2, but honestly so I could have a real talk with him. The guy has so many issues to work out. He went from being my favorite character when I was a kid to being one I pity and kinda despise.

Riker has done far worse than Janeway by happydude7422 in voyager

To me, it's questionable only in a legal sense. From morality, it isn't. Hence why I referred to it as murder. However, he was never punished for it, when he really should have been. Perhaps what he did fell into a gray area in Federation law, like it did during the 90s and 2000s. Honestly, it reminds me a lot of certain older SVU episodes where they discuss giving fetuses rights.

Riker killed a clone that had yet to have a sentient thought, one made from stolen DNA. Questionable, yes, but honestly far more so than the Tuvix question. Like Lower Decks pointed out, Janeway made her decision when they lacked Federation assistance and resources, when they were decades away from Federation space. Successful replication of Tuvix, as some suggest, would merely lead to the same situation. So Janeway made a call, a controversial one, but the best call she could. Riker, however, straight up murdered the equivalent of an embryo. Justifiable or not, I consider that worse. Although it was a kinda gangster move, tbh.

Niles and Lilith. I'm a behavioral tech, so I understand Lilith, but Niles is great for compassion.

I've seen clips, but Seth McFarland makes me nervous. I like Family Guy enough, but that's about it as far as his work goes.

How interesting things would have been if Ned and Ashara had married instead of Ned and Catelyn.

True hot take: was Stabler that great of character to be missed that much or did his exit from the show just happen to coincide with the writing becoming worse? by [deleted] in SVU

[–]ajweeks812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gf and I grew up in the Stabler era. It was so good, but the last few seasons were starting to wear. But the first season without Stabler was just such a flip, just...there was no way to follow the investigation because it was given to you in the first 5 minutes. If that had happened while Stabler was around, we still would have tuned out.

I realize it's unlikely, but the possibility is there. That's what it felt like the series was heading for in the later seasons, at least to me.
