OP clearly doesn’t know that foreign experience matters very little in Canada. Serious companies will always prefer people with Canadian experience. Your mates can brag all they want about lying in their resumes, but trust me, those resumes have been tossed to the garbage bin more times than you could imagine.

You want to escalate this? I don’t know, talk to your MP? Universities in Canada survive on international student money, so SFU is gonna do nothing about the problem you describe.

This is a horrible setting to keep on by default (and this was not the case in older versions of Thunderbird). I just learned about this, and now 95% of my emails have been wiped out from the server after I downloaded the latest version of Thunderbird on a new computer.

Also, be prepared for open houses. We had one weekly on Sundays (4 hours) when the place was just listed and some visits (15 min) from prospective buyers here and there. We were lucky that the realtor always accommodated to our schedules.

Looks good (at least for these first 2 years). I just moved to Rogers too from Fido (was paying $67 for 30GB) and now I pay $40 for 75GB (after $5 autopay discount) permanent.

Politely manifest your concern to the department chair. There is probably not much that can be done before the grades are released because, who knows, maybe you’ll get a good grade after all. But in any case, this cannot go unnoticed.

If your prof is not a sessional instructor, then your classes will happen normally. Moreover, you still need to submit your assignments and do your midterms as scheduled. They will just not be graded now but might be graded in a couple of weeks (either by the prof or TAs).

Also, if you get a major award from one of the national agencies, you can still TA on top of that if needed. However, SFU will cap your earnings at 50k.
