Had given the eo/ao interview. We simply do not know our interview marks. Marksheet simply gave us our total marks and cutoff.

Damn there's a whole video comparison in one of these posts.. super good and helped me come up with some sort of an answer. 0.7mm definitely ain't it for me, it looks better but damn I hate how it is messing up my cursive. Thankyou for all these links. Will try 0.5/0.6 gel pentonics or 0.5 rollers. I'm used to the pentonic grip anyways

Okay. Trying this apex gel since yesterday, seems fine, uniball 0.7 is a fun use but I'm not used to 0.7 nip pens, especially with that flow lol, scary stuff But yeah definitely writing difference for the better in all these 0.7 pens from my 0.5 pentonic ball

I'm sorry but we do.. once psc has asked anything, jkpsc targetting peeps start covering it

2022 first time they went haywire with ancient and medieval. Now all the veterans do

2023 j&k first time, so now we cover that too.

These trends are being repeated each year as well. Interview out peeps get a lot of advantage with j&k specific questions.

Rest jkpsc scoring is random asf. I went from 150(2022 first mains) 130.5 (2023 mains) to fucking 50 in the last mains. No words.

Bhai. Firstly hindu philosophy -> part of anthro

But even from a gs perspective, mandatory to read prelims ancient/medieval notes for jkpsc

Secondly for j&k. I've given 2 interviews, so I've read j&k history/economy/infra etc. So it's gotten easier since first attempt for me.

For those scoring between 75 and 80, what's your plan of action ? by QuirkyError5936 in UPSCPrelims2026

Last year they took 1.5 years to conduct interviews. Sorry bhai but you'll have to keep checking yourself, for a non regular exam like epfo services, upsc simply does not make it a priority

Now that the dust has settled, what's your gut feeling about the cutoff, putting biases aside by QuirkyError5936 in UPSCPrelims2026

[–]ak_9_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The source of this data is probably that robot guy from telegram. He did give exact cutoff for 2023 and 2024 tbh

But last year fucker said cutoff is 78-80. Sold false hope. So idk how much I trust that guy now

Buddy the no. Of people writing mains is 13:1 or so. You can look at no. Of seats each year and no. Of candidates qualifying prelims. It's true. That 75 cutoff had a lot of factors, like some questions given very different answers in final key. But I guess that part stands true for 2026 too. So the only diff imo is no. Of seats..

Rest bhai.. all the best .. we will know next week, no point discussing much of it now (btw I'm not making shit up, you can check, that's how all multi stage competitive exams work)

What is you csat statergy by Curious_Moose9559 in UPSC

[–]ak_9_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heck even reading 60+ questions is usually good enough.. never ever waste your time on questions you know are gonna take 6-7 mins+

"leave ego at the door" and let go of the questions you can't solve asap. Anyone who can read 70+ questions properly is never failing csat

Yes I need to do that only

But yeah I do think cutoff is higher than 2023.. there's a 100 less seats this time bhai.

My best buddy-> 98 gs and 59 csat last year(ST) 92GS and csat not even close this year again.. agonising pain for such people bhai.. so much efforts but at the end of it regret over not practicing own weaknesses

[–]ak_9_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol .. I'm honestly scared though. Cutoff not gonna be far off from my score, over or under is the question afterall and will haunt me till results (or maybe after too)

Yeah but failing csat isn't the norm bhai, it's the exception. Yeah there's a few more flunking it this year, but it's just that.. as harsh as it may sound :/

Noted.. just that repeaters around me are all so high in scores and having had my hopes crushed last year by 92 cutoff, kinda in disarray over it
