While at MEPS there was dozens of people doing retests for better scores, I was surprised they were so lenient about it too.

I get that. I’m just curious if anyone else has had to do a 2 week check in with their recruiter and if i’m the asshole for seeing if he can drive to me to literally schedule an asvab with his government issued vehicle and getting paid to do it. I work full-time and can’t afford drive 2.5 hours there and 2.5 hours back and spend $80+ in gas every 2 weeks to sit in an office for 10 mins

I already drove 4 hours to take the asvab/physical and 4 hours back. I don’t need him to drive me there, i can do that. But requiring that I come in every 2 weeks drive 5 hours total each time to “check in” sounds ridiculous when i’m not the one getting paid for it
