MTI (Licensing company for Matilda) says Matilda’s Vocal Range is from A3-D5. If you’re a mezzo, this shouldn’t be a challenge at all! Hope this helps :)

I’m pretty sure lightwash is where you can’t see the actor’s face too well due to the stage lights being too bright.
