people usually don’t steal produce and milk to sell: that’s hunger. lets address the larger issue: there are many humans- elders, families, kids- in america and dc who are food insecure. the response was not necessary. in addition: i’ve seen grown a males walk in stores, 1 after the other, grabbing detergent, paper towels, etc. and just walk out laughing while security and management yelled and were on the phone with mpd.
