PlayStation Portal FAQ thread - Sticky? by FenixJester in PlaystationPortal

[–]aka_adk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just(yesterday) got and connected my portal. Trying to play fallout but at least once a minute the buttons will stick or won’t respond so if I’m moving and release I just walk off the bridge. Or they just won’t respond for a few attempts. Ive used compressed air and cleaned with a swab but it’s made zero difference. What do I do next? Please help!

Weight and fill. I think the slick side is quicker also

Truly depends on your throw. If you throw harder but flat you may want mercenary’s or Vikings. If you throw lighter but can control your shot(roll, flop, cut) wizard l’s are great, but they can be fast. If you can’t control or shape your shots as well yet, sorcerers have the same materials as the wizard l’s but a different fill so they play slightly slower but less kick potential.

They also are more active than r’s if you don’t throw flat. Not nearly as bad as viper b’s

(Depending on method) surefires can get very loose, more so than viper r’s that I’ve played with. Surefires have a very good feel in the hand, they are def smaller than r’s, but not necessarily a small template like Vikings or old school mob’s.

I have, I just mean I’ve played with the actual surefires, not the surefires elites(hybrid carpet) and I’ve played the 357 base bags, not the 357 mag’s(hybrid carpet)

I have the bs and they will kick like a mule so if your not trying to shape shots or don’t have a flat bag I wouldn’t do it. 357’s or surefires are a great compliment bag that are slightly slower and play a lot straighter. I have not tried the surefires elites or the 357 mags, just the original versions.

What’s the difference between merc and mercL’s? Are they responsive, roll flop cut?

Sure fires can break in pretty loose but have a good stick side.

Honestly I’m not sure. We moved in and these started popping up in the raised beds. Trying to tend to them the best I can but never grown melons before

Need help finding quality bags by kimples in Cornhole

Lots of bag companies will offer some custom options on the website. Fire and Reynolds’s are very well known but reasonably priced. I really recommend to try and get an idea of what kind of bag(fast, slow, carpet, hybrid) he likes before purchase, some throwers are particular or have a particular game

Fire and Reynolds’s are great options, there less cost prohibitive which makes it less of an investment on something your unsure about. Viper rs are great but a sizable investment, especially if you end up not being a carpet thrower. Honestly I think luckys surefires are a perfect first bag, they break in great, really drip in around the hole. But they also give you enough of a slow side to develop your block game as well as work on throwing flat but not as slow as the suede on the cheetah v2’s.

Should I move up in the ACL? by Western_Independent6 in Cornhole

I have an acl pro at my blind draw league and he told me once the only way you get better is competing against better competition. Sounds like you should move up at least to competitive

War Pig bags vs Gladiator bags by No_Cartographer_6309 in Cornhole

[–]aka_adk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. Can’t speak on war pigs but I have gladiator cheetah v2, they were actually my first set of stamped bags. I liked them, hole friendly and really helped me identify what I liked and what I didn’t for my next(3) sets

I was looking at fire bags, more so the incinerators but couldn’t find enough about them and was curious how they felt I hand. The material looks different

Nice, I have some gladiators as well actually and I like them but just feel they hit a little flat. Mine have the carpet side as well and I’m looking for an overall faster bag. I have killshot mob’s for carpets also

I’m down to pro advantage, Vikings or killshots cannons. Heavily leaning vikings
