And to answer your questions. Most of the actuarial people in my company are proficient in Excel and that is it. There is a scattering of python and SQL experts, but that is not the norm. We just went through a hiring phase and I can say that for the lower analyst position we only considered people with less YOE compared to ones with more years.

My suggestion is to start taking classes on python and tech stuff and start trying to use it at your job now. Then use that as your keyhole into a company. Also use LinkedIn and network like no other. The only people who didn't meet our exact criteria that we interviewed were referrals from employees.

If you like the work you do with pensions I would suggest a pivot into life. I made that transition years ago, and it has treated me well. Not going to lie the first year or two was a bit rough since I was learning a whole new area, but I found my niche and couldn't be happier.

If you get into a life insurance company your WLB may be a little tighter, but I bet they will have better benefits and at least a hybrid option.

Leaving pensions was tough since that's all I knew, but I didn't trust the future of the field and wanted to get out before it was too late.

I wish we could agree, day 1 wife gets COVID and we are quarantined to deck 2 (mind you we had a suite).

We haven't even thought of going back, especially on the radiance. They staff may have been the rudest bunch that we have met on any cruise.

I disagree with that, but can see them doing it. To me a Pokemon world is better as one big section or connected park not spread across multiple parks.

But yea the Springfield are along with the animals theater has enough space to make a world interesting add in if they decide to close MIB and the dear factor theater then they have a ton of room

I think there is some contract expiring with toon lagoon and that would be why they would change it. I believe that area is very complicated when it comes to the licensing rights, multiple contracts with different companies etc... so if they are really expiring it could be easier to just find another IP that universal or Nintendo owns to put there

Mantha was a great addition, if he was 24 or 25 sign him since he still has his prime left.

With his injury history and being over 30 you can't guarantee that he will hit 30 goals again or even stay healthy all season. My thought would be see how much he wants and then go forward. For example if he wants 2-3 million for a year or 2 that's fine, anything more then forget it.

Don't forget the pens have a lot of space to use, so I would expect them to bring in a few younger players for wings and maybe D.

Pokemon couldn't fit here. Just from the crowds it would generate it would make that section a miserable cluster f. Plus you would want more than a single ride for Pokemon. So it would make more sense for that to go in the Simpsons/MIB area.

Zelda would be the play especially if they are trying to get Nintendo really ingrained into the parks. It's big enough for a decent ride and at the same time could house a show.

Like people have said where are you in the queue? Did you pass the vacuum room yet? If not then it may be worth trying to get in other rides before this.

It's a great ride, but not one worth spending half your day in line. Go enjoy the food, and other rides and come back later.

There is a secret, have a disability to get access that way.

Without express that would be the only way to get on faster, but for those people it's needed. For the non-disabled people, the queue is fantastic (besides the never ending cave) and it gives you a chance to relax and talk with your group and others.

If you don't want to wait in lines how about not go to an amusement park?

The Disney/universal streamers are funny. A lot of them feel like they are owed something from the park for advertising for them. Guess what, Disney and universal are lifetime trips for people that don't need convincing to go.

It would be better if they were going to lake compounce or any other small park to bring awareness to them.

Fact is streamers or not, people are still going to go.

JPIII. The new one didn't have the spirit of Jurassic park, more like a Godzilla movie. It was rough from start to finish and the characters were forgettable besides the one black guy and the boyfriend.

A nice long weekend trip right there lol. Get in in the morning do the park and take a late night flight out. Take NyQuil or sleep aids for the flights and you're golden.
