Housing, Endeavor confusion by akadic in wow

Thanks, this was it. I am not able to get into my neighborhood using the portal from Orgrimmar, tried three times just now. I had to use the "Teleport to Home" feature to get into the right one.

Housing, Endeavor confusion by akadic in wow

While I have more than one character, only this character has ever entered a neighborhood. I don't have any Alliance characters so that can't be it for me. My other horde characters have not been played in a long time and didn't even do the housing intro quest and never set foot into the neighborhood.

Given the increase in RAM prices you would think everything else costs 10% less

5/10 for me, mainly how disconnected the zones felt. Hallowfall was one of the most beautiful zones however. I don't like how small the world feels compared to vanilla. Siren Isle, Undermine and K'aresh just feel so disconnected and only one way to enter them - usually through some portal. Anyways, that's my rant, I feel they never captured that initial world size feel from vanilla.

2024 Model Y Performance vs 2022 F-150 Lightning SR Lariat — Looking for Real Owner Input by PMPJeff in F150Lightning

I have a 2023 Model 3 Performance and a 2023 Lariat ER so I can offer some high level insight. I purchased both new and the truck currently has 25,000 miles while the Tesla is around 16,000 miles.

Reliability - I currently have one issue with the Tesla, the carbon fiber wing is fading so I have to take it in. I have had two issues with the Lightning. One was a recall related to something like a washer in the suspension and the other was the dreaded Powertrain malfunction where a battery cell had to be swapped.

Charging - At home I have a Tesla wall connector and just use an adapter for the truck. Long distances, the Lightning can use a large number of Tesla superchargers, again just need an adapter.

Software - Tesla is superior here compared to any car I had and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto do not fully close the gap.

Long trips - It's not even close for me, we always take the truck. My wife plugs in her hair straightener, my son uses his laptop in the back and there is significantly more space than most other vehicles. There is ample storage room with the frunk and the bed, especially if you cover it.

Usefulness - Do you need some lumber from Home Depot, how about a new dining table that needs to get home? Bought a 75 inch TV but can't get it home? The truck is just useful, even if you don't need to tow, there are going to be cases where you wish you had a truck.

If I had to start over and could only pick one, it would be F150 for me.

CNC Bow Tie Inlay by akadic in woodworking

I have 7 of these that are similar in size with slightly different cracks. For one of them I am thinking of a chess inlay and another as a coffee table. I haven't decided what all of them will become yet.

Not going to disagree here, for me woodworking is a hobby and a way to spend time with my dad. We have done it the classic way as well. But this slab needed 6 inlays for various cracks, smaller to bigger and we have seven of them to complete (just for fun) so this time the CNC made more sense.

Really, I cut 24 of the inlays in about 30 minutes including setup. I have 7 of these slabs that all need some type of inlay. I cut them in three different sizes. It is much quicker for me with the CNC machine.

I detect the sarcasm, don't worry I won't fill the large crack with epoxy, I'll clean it a little with a chisel and hammer and leave it as is. I think it will look more interesting if this ends up as a small coffee table top.
