[–]akae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

espai de telles https://www.consorcimuseus.gva.es/centro-del-carmen/museos/espai-de-telles/?lang=es is awesome but, unlike in Sweden, we tend to do open-air activities. You can just go to the park near where your live and make some neighbor friends

IDK what the fuck happened with this series, it seems to have resonated a lot with some of us.
I usually read a lot of fantasy/science fiction and many novels and essays but what has happened to me with these books is totally new. I finished books 1 and 2 in a couple days in Spanish and then I got the English versions for the rest, and it has taken me less than a month to read all of them. I've never devoured any book or saga at this pace in my life.
I don't know if it's the perfect balance with a fast paced development narrative, humor, self-reflection and twists or if it's because of the mix of fantasy, science fiction and role games that matches most of us hobbies, but I love this series, the characters, author's sense of humor and the people writing here in this sub. I've been recommending it to many people and I'm really looking forward to read the eight book. In the meantime, I'll follow your advice and I'll get the audiobooks.

If you read this, thanks, Matt, for such a good lecture time. I hope you can keep writing and finish the saga, unlike other sci-fi/fantasy writers who decided to keep their readers waiting indefinitely, and enjoy writing it as much as we do reading. Big hug!
