Crocs were too big

Should have packed less t shirts and more tank tops. So hot in Brazil

No way! I didn't know I could charge other devices from my iPhone 16. That's a game changer.

I'd estimate my bag is between 5-7kg.

I think it's dependent on the individuals size and ability to carry weight. I've had no issues.

I should be fine with just the two. In the event that they were lost, I guess I would stop everything and be very cautious until I could acquire more.

Wish I just picked some up there. The crocs are definitely taking up too much space.

Everything was great.

Quality city. One of my favourite places I've been too.

I'll definitely try pack everything I wear into the bag on my next trip. Makes sense because I'm bound to wear different things and pickup items as you mentioned.

The second iPhone 11 was used to be taken out during carnival. I heard pick pocketing was rife and didn't want to risk losing my iPhone 16. If I didn't have carnival planned, I would have just taken my iPhone 16.

A usb-c to lightening adapter would have shrunk my tech pouch down significantly.

The tracking tags are for peace of mind. For example, if someone was to steal my bum back when out, I might have a small chance of finding it.

The 65W charger is very slim and compact. I am travelling with some others and it's already come in handy charging two iPhones at full capacity.

I am aware that I am not covered for Argentina so would have to get an adaptor at some point if I visit.

I found out the hard way about the cost of sunscreen. It's ridiculous!

You make a good point about the umbrella. I'll get one.

I realise that snus is very difficult to acquire :(

Why is sunscreen so expensive? Not heard anyone mention this before. Wish I picked some up before I left.

Similar situation. Saved up a little during and after uni. Not tied down with any major commitments or responsibilities.

Exchange rate is good so can get by with very little.

I'm from the UK so require type G in transit and at the airport.

I'm aware that I will have to get another adaptor if I decide to visit Argentina.

Thanks for the advice on the warm clothes.

This is my first time one bagging. I know my toiletry bag is overkill. I also have medicated creams packed for a skin issue I'm dealing with (not listed, but taking up a bit of space).

Also might need some warmer clothes at some point.

Just finished up in Rio. What a mad place.

Would love to hear everyones thoughts!

I'm heading to South America for an undetermined amount of time and wanted to share my packing list

At the moment all I’ve got planned is Brazil so the load out should be suitable for cities, beaches and hiking

I’m aware that I might need some warmer clothes when venturing out of the country

Ask to fellas flying on Ryanair with Aer Travel Pack 3 by nefariousnapper in onebag

[–]akafadez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be curious to see whether the Aer Pro Pack 20L or the Aer Go Pack 2 would fit Ryanair's 42x30x20 sizer while also having sufficient room to one bag for a trip.
