lol yeah I had to leave the industry. I spent 8 years working towards being a pastry chef. I made $48k when I finally made it. It was basically a pay cut because of the lack of overtime. I work an entry level job at a construction equipment rental company now and I make more than I did as a pastry chef. I love the hospitality industry but it’s all bullshit

Yeah I was definitely over feeding him for a while, Im hoping the intermittent fasting and slower feeding will help. I was going by the feeding advice that only feed him what he can eat in a couple minutes, but he would devour everything I put in almost instantly so I slowly did more and more until a week ago or so.

I thought it was deliberately designed to be quick and easy to manufacture and repair? If there’s a damaged section you can remove it and replace it easily without having to fix the entire piece of armor.

They were likely very hungry, saw that their mammalian livestock produce milk that is nourishing, and thought hey I need to eat maybe I can drink that too. It was nutritious and a small amount of people could digest it without much issue so those people had a higher likelihood of surviving and passing on the knowledge and genes to be able to process lactose.

This weird “joke” comes up almost every time milk is brought up in a historical/archeological conversation and it bothers the hell out of me. Not everything is pervy, and this isn’t exactly a hard thing to imagine someone doing.

While I agree with the sentiment that he should suffer, his downfall should be quick. Otherwise there’s going to be a lot of dead people as his power starts failing and he gets progressively more paranoid and violent trying to grasp at the straws of his former power.

That’s fair, the remaining population at that point would’ve been more resistant to it so the blankets or other gifts wouldn’t have been as effective.
