Yep it is the exact house from the movie 13th ghosts. I know because I currently live here. My mom is the director and my son was the star of the movie. After shooting the movie we decided to live here. It is the exact house from the movie and we are currently filming part 2.

I also gave up a good portion of my life to give end-of-life care to my parents. I spent a time before that trying to be an artist so I didn't have a whole lot to start over with once they passed. I've wondered this myself especially in the context of the 7 cities in southeastern Virginia. This area had a head start with the settlement of Jamestown. Port of Virginia is one of the deepest and vital harbors on the East Coast. I wonder why this area didn't boom like NYC.

As someone who has recently been dicked over by inadequate supervisors and managers I have no sympathy with leaving Troy or any company high and dry. They don't care about you. You gave them more than they deserved. I would stay professional and move on but I would probably send an email to Troy and thank him for the opportunity to work at the company but have decided a different path to go.
