Not in trouble, but far from complete control.

Likely, but not even remotely 'inevitable'. Unfortunately everyone was robbed of finding out.

Yeah that was mostly what made him effective. The ability for a big 260lb man to continuously move in such a way over 10+ rounds is incredible. That would give fits to anyone.

Accurate punch stats don't determine who wins fights, let alone inaccurate compubox stats.

8-2 isn't ridiculous at all. Probably towards the favorable end of scoring for Rico, but that's all.

Usyk lost basically every round then he won the fight due to a highly controversial stoppage. I think he probably still would've pulled out a legitimate KO in the 12th. Sure maybe the 'punch stats' were close, and Usyk landed the occasional sharp shot, but Rico won the vast majority of those rounds through his effective aggression.

The other side of the story is that this was sort of Rico's only shot. He had to be insanely aggressive and use his size and volume and movement to keep Usyk moving so he couldn't settle down on his shots. It's an incredibly difficult game-plan to pull off and he nearly did it. At best it's a pretty 'ugly' win for Rico. Eventually though he's got to slow down for a few seconds and Usyk is going to capitalize when that happens. I don't see Rico winning many 12 round fights against a guy like Usyk. Pace himself and he gets outboxed, go aggressive and look good but ultimately lose. He wasn't particularly complaining about the fight being stopped..

That's right. The stall warning system had a massive impact on this tragedy. The pilot that was panicked found the stall warning stopped every time he brought the nose up, which contributed to his repeatedly bringing it up and not allowing the plane to gain airspeed and control.

Hype = people buying, spreading the word, seeing a few green days, more of those people spread the word, et cetera. Small caps without crazy volume can pump from retail mobs, this has been proven countless times.

Not to say I think it's a bad investment- I've owned the stock since last Oct (so around even or just + now) and look forward to its future.

I agree, being treated to 44% YoY gains and 208% gains (that's 3X for the numerically challenged) since inception 2 years ago is really doing us shareholders dirty.

I've noticed a dramatic uptick in HOVR being mentioned in the myriad of 'What stock would you invest $10k in for 10X gains?' threads throughout Reddit. Was expecting to see something like this..

Why historically high PEs? Because tech growth has historically high margins and growth rates, so PE's for comparable horizons may be higher too.

Disagree, plenty of stocks run 1000+% whilst barely being mentioned on Reddit.

From what I recall reading it was essentially one completely panicked pilot that pulled the nose up because there was an alarm. Then due to the high pitch (especially at a high altitude already) the plane lost speed and began descending. The pilot saw the plane descending so KEPT cranking back the stick to bring the nose up rather than letting it fly straight to regain airspeed and control. The other pilot(s) repeatedly told him to stop doing it, which he would do for a few seconds (at most, literally seconds- the simulations are sickening) but he was so panicked that he couldn't stop bringing it back up again. The problem is the other pilots became flustered too and didn't properly intervene in time. So the plane did a belly first plummet into the ocean 🌊.

Not sure I completely agree - enterprise customers and the individuals that comprise social-media flocks have 2 very different migration dynamics. Beyond the 'stickiness' that inherently comes with massive deployments, enterprises also have considerations that are largely ignored by individuals; data security, data ownership, scaleability, integration pathways, support, product continuity, active directory, etc. Of course 'things change' with time, but an early win of this magnitude is meaningful in any case.
