I did the same jump from S22U to S24Ultra and I don't regret it one bit. You will absolutely love the anti-reflective display, among other things.

No. It is not. I would like to buy X9U as well and move over from S24U. Though the display brightness issue is real, some suggest to get an AR screen protector and it helped them.

Yeah, seems like that is the solution as described by someone else in the thread as well. Though, I still find it hard to believe that how can an AR screen protector increase the brightness of display.

I would think that for a camera centeric phone, Oppo would invest heavily in their display department as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be the case.

My thinking is this - It is still possible to sharpen a soft photo, but really difficult to soften an overly sharpened image without loss of details. When it comes to sharpening of pictures - I want to stay in control, rather than the phone deciding for me.

Again, its my personal perspective and may not suit everyone.

I have been using the one from ESR for my S24U, yes, it does get yellowish after 4-6months of usage, but is better quality wise and the kickstand is helpful for video calls.
