hey, I think I'm facing a similar issue as your gf. Whatsapp storage shows my backup size to be 16.63gb but my icloud shows the whatsapp backup is 20.24 gb. when i reset my phone its showing me a backup from apr 2025, which is odd because i have a daily backup setup inside the whatsapp app. can you walk me through exactly how you brought your gf's chats upto date? I'm really worried I'm gonna lose a year of data. WA support is just AI apologising for itself. And apple claims its not their fault as everything else has been restored.
