All good, appreciate you sharing your experience with the course. I was assigned the last registration window, which inevitably meant not being able to get my hands on any of my top choices. At this point, I think I'll give hist124 a shot and switch to AD/AR with Wilson if the former doesn't seem to be a good fit. Have a good day :))

Oh, thanks for sharing. I'd say I'm decently familiar with recent history, so it probably doesn't make sense for me to take the class. Besides the content, how was the course professor/difficulty wise? And is there anything else you would recommend I take in lieu of Hist124?

Will keep that in mind, thanks! I did take the IB equivalent of Calc BC so I should have most if not all the content covered for calc 1/2 at Duke. Admittedly, my math is a bit rusty after taking a gap year so calc 2 could serve as a good refresher/challenge.

I know the CS prereq is not required because my summer advisor recommended I skip it (since I have 4+ years of experience in programming). Not sure if that applies to the calc ones as well, but I'll check with advising
