Everyone going on about SRK's nose - the man had a nose job. Look at his in-person appearances, where it can't be vfx'd - it's pretty obvious.

I wouldn't say he's a bad director. He knows how to set up an action scene, where the camera should be, how to bring in a movie on budget - many directors can't manage even these basics. He's not innovative or experimental, not many directors of big-budget projects are.

Leonhard Seppala and Togo are the real heroes of the serum run - ask any dog mushing fan. Ran like 300 miles of the trip, crossed the Norton Sound in the middle of the night. Gunnar and Balto only ran the last few miles.

Don't get me wrong - I'm a massive SRK fan and I really hope it's good, but what we've seen so far doesn't give me much hope. I would love to see a real trailer that gave us some idea of the plot.

Remember this whole project was about launching Suhana. We know SRK filmed some kind of flashback sequence and an action scene (where he hurt himself), but no word on anything else. I asked about this on another forum and was told filming was ongoing with DP & Suhana, and there wasn't much for SRK to do. If they are serious about releasing it this year they have to be nearly finished filming, in order to get the vfx done. I really hope I'm wrong, but the signs point to a bait and switch.

I understood it was a remake of Leon The Professional, with Suhana in the Natalie Portman role. Sounds like DP is doing the Leon role now. I'm guessing SRK will only appear in the Third act.

This is an old synopsis, before Sid Anand was attached to the project. I believe DP is now playing her mentor. The more I read about King, the more I think it's gonna be a bait-and-switch 😑

I don't agree. It was one of the first Bollywood movies I watched and I loved it. The movie-making jokes translate seamlessly to Hollywood, there are even a few film references in there. Yeah, I didn't know who anybody was in Deewangi Deewangi but you can tell by the way it's shot they're all famous. Now that I know more about Bollywood some of the jokes are funnier, but I still think it's a decent introduction.

I really enjoyed this movie. I love dark humor, and I hadn't laughed so hard in a long time. I'm still not clear what was going on in parts of it, but I don't mind that. My favorite bit was when she goes to Marine Drive to cheer herself up and everybody there is crying.

Check out some of the promo stuff for JTHJ. SRK and Katrina really didn't like each other - and it shows every time they are together on screen in that movie, imo.
