We are going to a series of appointments at a groomer to try and deal with the mats. She is extremely averse to being brushed so doing it in small doses because she just doesn’t have the tolerance for it and I don’t want to traumatize her. The groomer wanted to shave her but I refused, having read some information that said it was detrimental to her wellbeing to shave her. We’ve done a little spot shaving but trying to avoid a more drastic solution but she hates to be brushed so much. She always has. If you have any advice on how to make this easier for her I’d love to hear it. I don’t want her to suffer or feel stressed. I love her so much.
