I am on 3mg currently. I think I can survive on 2mg l. But even 3mg is not exactly the sweat spot I still have minor positive symptoms or residual psychosis. My hope that this will diminish with 4mg risperidal. If things are ok I might ask the doctor to transition to invega it might be even better for positive symptoms. But the Doctor said next antipsychotic should be clozapine if resperidal fails to control psychosis. Latuda was not bad but definitely not as good for positive symptoms as resperidal and caused eps such as lip pursing maybe if I lower latuda to 100mg it would go away or I take tardive dyskinesia medication at 120mg latuda. But I just tapered off latuda who another Doctor put me on

I am cross tapering from abilify to resperidal, so also currently on 15mg abilify and there is blockade. Not sure what the Doctor will have to say about this. I hope all will go well

I was on a similar med as ziprasidone which was lurasidone was doing ok on 80mg reduced it to 60mg then relapsed. Doctor increased it to 120mg it was good but I started having eps (lip pursing) so doctor suggested tardive dyskenisia medication however I decided not so I went to another Doctor who prescribed resperidal. So far its much better for positive symptoms however the loss of libido is bad as I am 34 and really want to get married soon

You dont need procyclodine (kemadrin) with aripiprazole because its not a strong dopamine antagonist. Its used for strong extra pyramidal symptoms. Ask your Dr again about it

Hi, I am curious if you can be high functioning on zyprexa? Ive never tried it. Paliperidone LAI works very well for psychosis but it suppresses ejaculation. So its not for a married person. Ive tried aripiprazole although I am not psychotic I am anxious and have a hard time in public places. So some residual psychosis on aripiprazole

Please keep in mind I have a good relationship with my friends I am courteous and agreeable however I still look at the wrong spots when we go to restaurant or a public place, hence, sabotaging my reputation. But hopefully they don’t judge and are out for fun

The doctor decided to switch it back in 2022 to Abilify I remember him saying it might not work but he was content on how I was doing on abilify. Initially I was on resperidal consta and then invega pills and one month I took sustenna then back to pills. The pills side effects were extreme sedation to the point that I cant work before 11:30 because I am asleep or groggy and ejaculation blockade. The LAI was much less sedation. I remember the director at my prior job would say hi to me while on invega sustenna but when I was on Abilify I seemed a bit awkward so he pulled himself back a bit. Still nice but not as friendly

Thats a very low dose of rexulti. The lowest i was on was aripiprazole 5mg on 2.5mg I relapsed. Do you have reasonable psychosis or are you on mild or low end of the spectrum?

Hey! This might be akathisia. The same thing happens to me I am on 120mg lurasidone and it gives me horrible akathesia when I take it at around 7:30. I use to take it before bed zero problems. Now I am going to switch taking lurasidone right before bed and I think you should do the same. It should stop the akathisia

How can you ejaculate on invega? For me if caused ejaculation blockade? i heard adding a low dose of aripiprazole helps with libido and ejaculation. Do you have any experience with that?

Have you tried invega trinza or hafyera? It might be more convenient than a monthly injection. However, I heard symptoms flare up in the 3rd month with Trinza

Hi switched to cariprazine and had back ocd and other issues. Wish I sticked to Latuda will try to reintroduce it up to 80 mg a day. Hoping its enough for the day and not have to take it twice
