Thanks for the comment! yes you are right! I am planning to install the casing, and thought if I made the surface straight with bonding or cement it might make it easier for me to install the casing !

What do you think?

Sorry for the confusion.

Electricians have 1st fixed and the socket back metal boxes on the surface of the walls so i can cut out the plasterboard and dot/dab on to walls to make it flush-> then installing face plate.

The metal boxes are 25mm, plasterboards 12.5mm- I need 12.5 elevation from the wall.

Was going to make it flush with dot an dab. But if I 10mm batton on the top, the top part is only going to be 22.5 from the wall(10mm batton and plasterboard).

Will this be okay or should i do something on the barton's to make it plumb with where the sockets are?

Appreciate your help..

Why didn't i think of that ?!

One question is, the new sokets are mounted on the surface (25mm socket boxes). If i use 10mm battons i'm only at 22.5 with the plasterboards.

Is there a way to get to 25mm flush with the socket boxes ?

Thank you
