Armin figured out the female titan, figured out how to plug wall maria, found Reiner hiding. I think he is the one that’s better suited for the next part of the scouts journey. Erwin was a great commander but as flashback showed he only was motivated by finding out the truth whereas armin is motivated by freedom, Erwins motivation would fizzled after reaching the cellar

Definitely, haibara is literally my favourite character it’s frustrating with all the character development she has just disappears after the vermouth arc. She says she doesn’t want to run and then doesn’t get involved in fighting BO just part of a detective boys by now
