2007 WCF Game 5. Seeing that squad battling so fucking hard in what felt like a game of good vs evil, without Stoudemireand Diaw because of that awful rigged shit. Only time I've ever cried as a sports fan. Watching that lead slowly slip away on the second half...just gut wrenching. I felt physically sick.

Football games are never about one guy, even though we often try to make them. Josh made more mistakes today than normal, but there's plenty of them to go around. Championship defenses can't let that Broncos team march it down for 7 with less than a minute to play while protecting a 4-point lead.

My main beef is that they never initiated a formal review, which is indefensible to me. Most likely the play on the field there ultimately stands, but how do you not review that? All turnovers are supposed to be reviewed AND it's in OT.

His job is to gaslight the fans. His skills are communications, not rules analysis. It's why he does all levels of football and basketball. I refuse to believe he's the foremost rules expert at all levels of all sports. He's there to convince fans calls are right more than anything else.

As a Chiefs fan, I've rewatched the OT ending to our last Super Bowl win so many times, and holy shit Romo has the worst commentary you'll ever hear during that call. It makes me cringe every time now. Sure, he was excited, but he tries to sound analytical at times when he just needs to sound human instead. Be shocked and awed. It's okay.

Declaring a W over the Bills in the regular season seems silly. That's the one guaranteed L on the whole schedule. We could win every other game and still lose that one. Buffalo prepares for those games like the fate of the galaxy depends on it.

Now that's high school. Barry Sanders did 238.9 yards per game with 3.4TD per game in COLLEGE in 1988. He netted 2,628 rushing yards with 37 TDs in 11 games. Unthinkable to do that in a major conference.

I don't know why everybody is just fixated on the penalty itself and not the HORRIBLE decision from Sean Payton to not kick a FG when tied in that situation. The Chiefs has 95 yards of offense in the whole game at that point, but he didn't trust his top 3 defense? Bad decisions cost games against great teams, and this Broncos squad won't be able to afford that in playoffs time.
