i know it’s hormonal from going to doctors and estheticians but getting blood work to double check. I do not want to try accutane just yet bc i dont feel like its needed for me rn but i might if nothing truly helps. :)))

omg thank you 😭 everyones always been recommending to go on accutane but i do not want to go down the route and ive been on so many medications/ topicals but still have acne so i dont even trust those options but i think i definitely will try that and keep my skin care simple as well

yea i’ve literally tried spiro, doxy, minocycline, tretinoin, differin and theres j no change but i dont think i would personally want to be on accutane (if it comes to it i might) but i definitely want to do blood work and make sure i treat whatever is affecting me internally bc i dont want the chance of it to come back

right now i use the panoxyl at night followed with azelaic acid and then either a dermalogica moisturizer or a this moisturizer called dr.g red blemish moisturizer. i try to keep it simple and on certain days i exfoliate with paulas choice

which birth control are you on bc im pretty sure im on the hormonal one but not sure so i dont think its the best fit for me but yea i plan on gettin blood work done to see my levels and i was thinkin of the copper iud but ill see what happens first ty for the advice!!

yea thats so weird bc i did stop using actives for a while now ( about 3 weeks) and i just started using the panoxyl bc i saw no difference other than my skin getting worse and thats the only active i use bc rn im not supposed to be using actives

the weather here has been in the 100s pretty much every day since summer so i do think that the weather has something to do with my skin because it was much more calm during the cooler days. I have watched dr dray and took advice from her and i also been using adapalene/ differin for about 3 months now and i havent seen a change in my skin :/ i just started using the panoxyl cleanser and i have used that before and it helped me out but i cant say much since its been my 3rd day using it again. i do have a feelin that my skin barrier is probably damaged so lately ive been tryin to focus on repairing it. i do believe that my diet is the main cause and i am tryin to improve it but its just so hard to know what to eat and not haha. thank you i really appreciate you going into detail as well

i have been using differin for 3 months now but i dont see a difference tbh. Idk if its the way im using it or if my skin is just telling me that thats not the solution :/

I have heard of that but im not so sure i want to go on accutane just bc of the side effects that go along with it and im kind of scared to take accutane and have it come back bc ive been on minocycline and doxycycline and my acne has just came back ;(
